Greetings from the Garden!

We've all been eating well this summer and it's not over yet!  We hope you all have been taking advantage of our weekly produce.  There's still corn, cukes, squash, Swiss chard, endive, parsley and two types of basil.  Peppers and flowers are coming in.  We've replanted radishes, beets and carrots, and soon we’ll have tomatoes and pumpkins aplenty.  We've noticed the mint hasn't been a big hit, so it's being dried for use as tea. 

We really appreciate all the help from the happy Garden Club on Saturday mornings.  The next couple Saturdays are particularly important in preparation for the Block Party on Sunday, September 7th. Plan to join us at 9:00 AM for an hour or two on August 30th and September 6th and really make a difference!
